To stop Outlook Express from blocking attachments, Open Outlook Express, and from the tools menu select options.
From the dialog box below select the Security tab
Then Uncheck the box for "Do Not Allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus." as shown below.
Click Apply then OK, and you should now be able to receive attachments, but remember, you should be care as you to what you open, and not just trust everything from people you know, they may not have actually sent it to you. Check with the sender if you are unsure. It is also imperative that you have an Anti-Virus program scanning your incoming mail, to help weed out problems. If you need to purchase an Anti-Virus program, we recommend and sell Norton Anti-Virus, and sell it for much lower than in the local stores. Call us for current versions and pricing.
